Biography
Jean-Pierre Vertus is a Haitian abstract artist and humanitarian based in Los Angeles, California. His works in acrylic and oil illustrate life’s complexities through the intersection of color, movement and space. His study of symbols within chaos intend to awaken creative passions and human connection.
"Painting has brought me a level of love, peace and happiness, for which I am most grateful. My intention is to move people with my art, ignite their own sense of creativity, and hopefully inspire them to follow their own bliss."
Most recently, two pieces from his collection were auctioned during a J/P HRO fundraiser (Sean Penn's organization for Haiti's rehabilitation).
His work is now being exhibited at the 2017 Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival.
